Since Trish and I enjoy the road trips to pick up vehicles or parts so much, driving the trusty Isuzu beavertail truck, we decided the thing we really needed to give total freedom to stop wherever and whenever we want (the joys of travelling in Dolph the Bedford CF camper!), was to have a small, light, very basic caravan that could be towed behind the truck.
↑ I'd been looking for a small, sound, original, easily-towed van for a while, and this little gem fitted the bill perfectly. Galvanised chassis, aluminium frame, as-new original floor, and remarkably free of damage (water or impact - or so it seemed), this is exactly what I wanted. In early 2023 I decided to give it a quick brush-up before using it for its first trip. Little did i realise....the above pics are the finished article after 6 months of work, culminating in its re-registration 23rd May 2023. The before and after number plates give a hint of the transformation. Click here to see all the work done to this caravan!
