Serial number of 760625 dates this made-in-Japan Ibanez 'lawsuit copy' to 1976. The prefix letter which denotes the production month is illegible on the inkstamped number. The model number is 683, which was the Ibanez code for their copy of the Gibson® Hummingbird® in Grand Concert size (684 is the Dreadnought). The Grand Concert body measures 18.5" x 15", with a depth of 3.75". Overall length is 40". A catalogue scan can be seen here.

The guitar is in stunning condition, with almost no play wear at all. Frets and the Rosewood fretboard show no wear. There are a few very minor marks and chips to the body (check the 'more pictures' link below), but a fussy player or collector would be happy with how well this guitar has been kept over its more than 30 years.

Neck set is perfect, neck is straight, and the adjustable bridge has plenty of adjustment left, allowing you to set this guitar up exactly to your preference.

The 683 has a fine-grained Spruce top, with Mahogany back, sides and neck. Bridge and fretboard are Rosewood. This vintage Ibanez is dead original, and will come with a brand new hard shell case.
