| This is without doubt the best vintage Maton I have ever come across. An absolute time capsule. Solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides. Even the case is mint. Maton were agog when they saw this guitar when I bought it some 6 or so years back now and dropped in to show it to them. The only marks on this guitar are the hole in the back of the headstock (see pics) where an eyelet was screwed in for the old-style 'rope' strap (there is no strap pin on the front of the guitar) and another slight mark on the heel of the neck where a guitar stand was adjusted too short and left a tiny scrape. Truly a grouse guitar. A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to secure a collectable, vintage archtop acoustic guitar of this calibre. Sold to Keith
