What a great Les Paul. I admit that I find it difficult to come by Les Pauls that I get excited about - many of you have probably noticed that! Every now and again, though, there is an example that does something for me. This black beauty is one such example - 2 owners, 1971 build, dead original except for changed tuners. Weight is reasonable at 4.5 kg. The previous owner had this guitar for 20 years, and it's not difficult to see or hear why! Serious good looks with its beautifully aged binding and inlays, and equally seriously good tones from its original humbuckers. There is some minor belt buckle rash on the back of the body, and a chip out of the headstock top right edge (not visible from the front at all - see the 'more pictures' link below), but overall this Les Paul is in great condition. The original Gibson hard case comes with this one, far from mint but perfectly servicable. A truly grouse vintage Paul at a truly grouse price. This one won't last, and you can guarantee I'll be gigging it until it sells! Sold to Michael (then re-sold at a major Sydney vintage guitar dealer at a HUGE premium!)
