1964 Ibanez model 3903 |
||
I love this thing. Very complete and original. Kooky styling, obviously heavily influenced by the USA-made Mosrite electric guitar models, but also Fender®-influenced with the Strat®-style headstock. The 3903 was one of the very top models offered by Ibanez back in '64, and when you see the quality of the hardware and fittings on this guitar you can understand why. Three gutsy single-coil pickups, all individually switched, each with its own volume knob, and the overall selection of 'solo' and 'rhythm' settings, which basically switch the single tone control in and out - a surprisingly logical and useful configuration! A great blues axe with a difference. Grouse period looks, grouse playability, grouse collectability and grouse tones! This low-mileage vintage guitar comes in its original case. Sold to Martin |
