Here is a beautiful and very rare Ibanez 2404, the twin-neck with a 4-string bass and 6-string guitar neck, rather than the more common 2402 model which copied the 6/12-string Gibson® EDS-1275 (which was made famous by its use in the live renditions of "Stairway to Heaven" by Jimmy Page. In the movie "Spinout", Elvis Presley's guitarist Scotty Moore is actually shown playing a Gibson twin-neck, although it's doubtful that he actually recorded with it!) This example is in very good condition, and totally original and unmolested. It has several chips to the finish, mainly around the edges, as they are a somewhat unwieldy instrument! Check the photographs in the 'more pictures' link below. The guitar displays very little play wear, and almost no wear or pitting to the plating on the pickups, bridge etc. Original frets are perfect. The instrument weighs a substantial 5.7 kg (12.6 pounds). This is a highly collectable guitar, and won't last long! Unfortunately, no case came with this guitar, so it will be sent securely boxed.
