Here's an original example of a very sought-after bass - the Hofner "Beatle Bass" made famous, of course, by Paul McCartney, who played in a British band you may be aware of. Others refer to the model as the Violin Bass, for obvious reasons. The centre metal cover is missing from one knob, the strap buttons appear non-original, and the finish around the neck joint of this vintage Hofner has cracked, but the neck is very firm with no movement and the correct 'set'. There is some minor wear to the original finish (check the pics) and the original scratch plate went missing years ago. This vintage guitar comes complete with a strong wooden case (made by a previous owner in 1988) which protects this classic baby extremely well. Sold to Byron
