You all know the ES-175 Gibson, one of the most popular jazz (and rock) guitars ever. This is the solid wood version. The ES-175 is fully laminated, whereas the L4 has a fully carved solid spruce top, with Maple back and sides, giving a lot more tone. It also has a beautiful, fully-bound Ebony fretboard, full gold-plated hardware, and multiple-bound pickguard. Serial number of 91927020 shows this beautiful high-end Gibson jazz box was made at the Bozeman Plant , MA, USA, on July 11st, 1997, and was Production Number 20 that day. The one-owner archtop guitar is stunning in its Wine Red finish with gold hardware - a lot more so than the pictures can convey. It is in near mint condition, with only the barest of buckle indentations in the back and the slightest wear on the gold-plating of the bridge pickup making it less than perfect. The guitar has been strung with a set of Dr Thomastik flat-wounds, and sounds fantastic! Comes with the original plush-lined Gibson (TKL) tan hard shell case, which is in good condition.
