Here we have a beautiful 1966 vintage ES-330TD Gibson guitar, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan. These Gibson thinline fully hollow electric archtops were made between 1959 and 1972. At first glace this model looks like an ES-335, but it's quite different. Fully hollow instead of semi-hollow, and P-90 pickups instead of Humbucking pickups make this model quite individual in character.

This example is totally original, with the great-sounding chrome-covered P-90 pickups. Barely played, with plenty of life left in the original frets. The body and neck display only the barest of age-checking and yellowing of the original finish - see detailed photographs in the 'more pictures' link below. The Sunburst finish has not faded at all, pointing to a very easy life, largely in the original case! Serial number of 843802 dates it as a 1966. The number would also be valid in 1969, but the 15th fret neck/body join pre-dates the 1968 change to a 335-like 19th-fret neck/body join, and also has the earlier (pre '67) pearl logo with the open 'b' and 'o'. The original hard shell case comes with this vintage Gibson guitar.

Extremely comfortable thinline body (weighs just 2.8 kilos, or 6.2 pounds), double cutaway, fully hollow body, 2 P-90 pickups with chrome covers, tune-o-matic bridge, trapeze tailpiece, laminated beveled-edge pickguard, single bound top, back and rosewood fingerboard, pearl small block fingerboard inlays, and vintage Gibson tone to burn!

Character, tone, playability and collectibility all in this one investment guitar.

Condition is ridiculously good, with the tiniest amount of 'worming' on the back (nothing that could really be called a 'scratch'), and a couple of tiny marks here and there, but you're going to find it hard to believe it's a '66! Check out the 'more pictures' link below. Frets have only minor wear, and even the original hard shell case is in good condition.
