Here is a lovely and quite rare vintage 12-string Gibson B-25-12-N, with full solid Mahogany neck and body construction and solid Spruce top in a natural finish (hence the "N" in the designation). The tone of this guitar really surprised me when it arrived from its long-term previous owner; the strings were rusty, and obviously many, many years old, yet the guitar rang out with a confidence and depth of tone that grabbed me! I am only lately starting to appreciate just how good these lower-end, plainer Gibson models from the era really are. Their sound is so rich, so powerful, and playability is so damn good! It has a lovely vintage patina to it, and is beautifully original in every respect, from its tortoise pick guard through the inline Kluson Deluxe tuners and original binding back and front to the adjustable bridge. Neck set is still perfect, so this guitar will give many, many years of playing with great tone. The original frets display hardly any wear, which confirms the previous owner's claim that he was reluctantly selling as he barely played the instrument. The original finish is nicely crazed, and has a few scuffs and marks from its more-than-40-year age Serial number is 355352, which indicates a 1965 build. The guitar comes with a high-quality aftermarket plush-lined hard case. Sold to David
