The original Danelectro Pro (also known as the Flintstone or Bowtie model) was made between 1959 and 1963, and reissued as a limited release in 2007, 44 years later. The 2007 Dano Pro was an upgraded version of the original, sporting dual lipstick pickups (the original was a single pickup design), upgraded electronics, a fully adjustable bridge, and a full-scale design (25" rather than the 21" scale of the original). To Danelectro's credit, the re-issue Dano Pro also features an antiqued pickguard, antiqued binding tape, and antiqued hardware. This is probably one of the last New Old Stock Pros still available anywhere in the world, and is finished in very attractive Tangerine. Here's an opportunity to get a true modern classic which was produced in limited numbers and is now already very collectable and difficult to find even second-hand. It comes in a very cool Danelectro gig bag. Dano PRO Specifications
