Here's a 1962 Maton ALVER (serial number B-205). It comes in the hard to find Cherry-Sunburst colour and has the original pickups and tuners, which all work perfectly. The tailpiece features a tremolo arm and is in frosted chrome. Included in the case pocket is a plain trapeze tailpiece which can be clipped on in place of the tremolo arm.

The neck is straight, and was fitted with a new rosewood fingerboard and had the frets renewed about 3 years ago. The intonation is great and plays well with light-weight strings. Finish on the guitar is all original. There is some buckle rash on the back and the usual dings and knocks around. But nothing a refinish or a light re-dressing wouldn't fix.
