I have long held Greco guitars in high regard, enjoying several of them when I operated a specialist Japanese guitar operation along with Grouse Guitars (see www.japguitars.com) As I presently don't have an acoustic-electric guitar to gig with, I imported this interesting Greco, and have been extremely impressed! These very individual guitars are quite rare. I love the 'jazz guitar' feel of the arched top and back, plus the cutaway. It has a Spruce Top, Maple back and sides, Mahogany 3 piece neck, and Rosewood fretboard. The 24-fret neck has a scale length of 25.5". The piezo pickup system is surprisingly good, and I simply can't fault it when I perform using my AER AcoustiCube3. I have played guitars worth many times more that simply didn't sound anywhere near as good amplified. Price when new was 80,000 YEN, hence the model number (800) in typical Japanese style. This lovely guitar comes in its original plush-lined arched-top hardshell case, which is also in superb condition. not presently for sale until I find a suitable gigging replacement!
