1989 Saab 900i Combi Coupe

Saab models from 1949 (the Saab 92) until the last of the 'true' Saabs, the 900, have always fascinated me. In 1968 the parent company merged with Scania-Vabis, and ten years later the Saab 900 was launched, in time becoming Saab's best-selling model. In 1989, General Motors (GM) took 50 percent ownership (the automobile division of Saab-Scania was restructured into an independent company, Saab Automobile AB), and that's where my personal interest in these cars starts to decline.

This superb 2-owner 900i Combi Coupe is one of the last of this series. It comes with a complete and extensive service history, and has obviously been loved and pampered all its life. It has covered a total of 136,000km. It has covered a mere 14,000 km since 1998 when the 2nd owner purchased it.

It is the youngest member of the Kelly St Classics family, but will be as treasured and carefully used and maintained as any other member of the family!

The car was picked up 22nd July 2020. Following are a few photos from that day.
