| Here we have a beautiful Beeton tricone resonator handmade in July 2004. I jumped at the chance to purchase this early Beeton Style 1 (serial number 07) to provide the perfect partner for my.1999 Beeton Style 0, serial number 012. As with the single-cone, this Beeton is made from nickel-plated bell brass. Beetons are, of course, made by Australian (NSW) luthier Greg Beeton, and have become extremely highly regarded worldwide. Beetons are played by Australia’s top slide players including Jeff Lang, John Butler, Dom Turner (The Backsliders) and Phil Manning. This guitar has in March 2016 been given an extensive going-over and setup by Greg, and is playing and sounding better than ever. Moreover, simply dealing with Greg is a wonderful experience - he's helpful, ethical, and extremely skilled at his craft. This tri-cone Beeton has a beautiful clear, loud tone.
